4. afternoon jaunting

The American Embassy in Grosvenor Square.

not sure why to separate dog waste from general litter.
 9/11 memorial.
awesome to watch a women's marathon.  we crossed the course several times that day.  these women were hard core. thin. young. tough. running like machines.
 hi hubbie!  thinking of you.
folks were actually sitting watching the marathon on this big screen as competitors ran 20 feet behind them.
We sat for part of a service at this beautiful St. Paul's Cathedral.
the London Bridge is not falling down.

the Tower of London, where many were imprisoned.
the Tower Bridge

on Grandma's recommendation, i've started reading a good book:  Grit.
as my son reminds me, we all have different tastes.  Grandma likes mustard.
After dinner, back to Hyde Park to see the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain.

In the dusk, it was easier to look at the Prince Albert memorial.
Through these open windows, at a college of music, we heard beautiful piano playing.

there was a concert ongoing at the Royal Albert Hall.  we will add a performance to our list of things to do on our next trip.
