the big day arrives

E was thrilled that Santa wrote back to his note, and ate the plate of cookies and milk.

we ended up shoveling the walks before church, so the unwrapping of gifts was a little delayed.  no one minded :)

visited the B family and got a tour of their awesome basement remodel!  it's really comfy and love those organized closets.  a big barn door slides to close the organ room.  That T is a really talented nephew.

We walked to see the lights in nearby park.

a nice visit with S before he leaves town for work.  he's a good kid.

one of e's favorite gifts was this watch.  he enjoyed letting everyone know the time. frequently.
