sledding and skating

sledding part 2 of 3 was a nice visit to cousin M&J's house.  they've got a hill built into their backyard for this purpose.

 Here I appreciated watching gma make cabbages and mushrooms and more. no recipe, but just a great sauteed mixture.  delish.


The next day was sledding part 3 of 3.  We met cousins K&S in Bountiful.  none of us had been to this park before and the first rides down were on a killer hill.   i crashed and was bruised for awhile.  but we had a great time visiting and getting to know the 3 beautiful little girls.  we had J&T with us.  Grandma took everyone out for hot cocoa afterwards.  We found a nicer, tamer hill on the other side and then towards the end we ended up on the Perfect hill. everyone took a ride on that one.

C family had the great idea to get out to the Olympic Oval for ice skating. SO fun.  and reasonably priced.  indoor ice skating will be something we do again for sure. 

 E was very interested in the 2 inner rinks where a hockey game was going on and also figure skating. 

i love how this place was so family friendly.  i counted 3 kiddos in strollers going around.
