Iron Bear - Teanaway Ridge

above:  E and I both worked on sewing projects during conference.
E rode and I jogged to get the dog some exercise.  phew.  love that it worked.  3.2 miles.

chess is a teacher approved math activity.  thumbs up for homemade bread shared by vteacher.
below, a nice full moon early one morning.
i invited ourselves (r&r) to a climbing group.  here is the first of many, hopefully. 9 miles, 2000 ft elevation. we drove past our original destination - Davis Peak- 15 miles further and found the sun on the other side of the mountain.

 hiking along the ridge.
S educated us by showing lots of larches, a pine tree, but the needles change colors and fall off.
C was awesome with reading his downloaded topo map.
Mt Stuart range always gets my heart racing when i'm driving on I-90.  even more impressive when i see it from the mountain top.
