Bavarian charm

Our wonderful cousin D was so so so nice to take E overnight so that R and I could enjoy a weekend trip away to celebrate our 8th anniversary.  We thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful drive up to the Bavarian (German) village of Leavenworth.  Rob had his wursts (sausages).

My dad came to town for a conference and we got to walk around with him for an evening.  We walked around the Amazon campus, MOHAI, the Center for Wooden Boats on South Lake Union.

We went to U Village to Din Tai Fung on my boss's recommendation. Thru the window you can see how much time is spent making each dumpling.  made me realize how lazy i am about food.

YUM!  for sure we will go here again.

Rob showed us around UW campus as well.

E's preschool trip to a rooftop. they are making silly faces.  most of this group will be transitioning to Pre-K now that the Pre-K'ers are starting Kindergarten.  they are excited for the next class level :)
