Fort Flagler with friends

 relaxed Fall evening practice.
pajama recital.  E played Chorus from Judas Maccabaeus, by Handel.
squeezing in a camping trip before fall, after Ms A. finished her summer job managing the outdoor pool.
E and i got to the ferry about 5 minutes before them, which put us on different ferries.  We arrived with 1.5 hours to explore before they came.

 blowing a grass horn
 i'm a lucky mom.
we took a walk before dinner, which was lovely, but did result in preparing dinner in the dark.  Not a problem as we planned simple meals.  loved Ms. A's idea to use her griddle for making simple chicken/cheese quesadillas and hot dogs.

need to improve this selfie posture that i always take. put hair down. wear makeup. those things would help.

we lucked out with the rain.  had some showers while we were sleeping, but they ended by 7am.  K's shoes got wet though, so C rigged her up some plastic bag/plastic bottle makeshift coverings that worked until her shoes dried over a fire. (and yes, got a little bit damaged)

i was intrigued by the low tide and this spit that almost reached another spit.
