WS garden tour

this was such a pretty house. they painted the brick with sand and a trowel or brush. called it french colonial. felt Mediterranean.

this little bell and had nice little sound.  not loud like some big wind chimes.

these people had vision to design their garden in a ravine.

i like the idea of planting marigolds around the perimeter of veggie beds to keep away the slugs.

this one is pretty. it's called Azara microphylla and has little leaves that allow the person in the office inside to look out, yet give some personality and privacy.
this gnarly old tree is called a contorted Filbert, or "Harry Lauder's Walking Stick"

watch your step for your safety. glad i don't live on a cliff.

this was in the name of research for my new house/yard landscape planning.  Yews were nice - an evergreen with red berry.  gardenias had a nice smell.

we slept on the bathroom floor because he likes it cool. esp when sick.

  1. I'm sorry Ely isn't feeling well. Hopefully you guys can sleep in a bed tonight! You can plane whatever you want at the new house, but I'm partial to the "walking sticks" and marigolds.. Love you. Miss you. Rob
