halloween party 1 of 3 was Friday, at school friend's house. was nice to meet a few parents.
haloween party 2 or 3 was Saturday at church. 3 of 3 - halloween itself - was a monday.
Ms. C was AWESOME to come over to teach me how to trim back the grapes. whew. maybe i'll keep them. they were out of control. she spent several hours in the rain helping me prune fig trees, apple, and cherry as well. the sun and N. came out at the end.
he's not excited about green smoothies for breakfast, but will learn to love them.
had a warm afternoon for a walk in Lincoln Park with Ms. A and O.
E and I enjoyed really good food at Joy Palace. bok choi delish.
E's class sang America the Beautiful for his Veterans Day assembly. :)
newest great idea i'm excited about: buddha bowls of roasted veg. yum.
he lost his first tooth and it was a great day for him!
he and i observed Veterans day by going to the museum of flight where they had a musical and talking program. we saw lots of service members and enjoyed the music. thought of grandma dancing when they played swing.
he says he wants to fly a red helicopter when he grows up.
ended the health challenge (well, a few more days) with a 5k. it was nice. i ran the whole way except for a water break, maybe about 40 min. very slow. i was the last runner in :) but it was great.
e helped for several hours in the yard today. enjoyed cutting back this dead rhodi.
