catch up

we are planning our next life transition - E starting kindergarten in September.  also, my office is moving.  as it looks now, i may become a driver commuter and will have to try to fit in bike commuting as best i can.  its been a good 3 years. great 3 years.  I'm not ready to give it up, so i think i can make it work at least sometimes.  remembering that we can't do it all.

list of wonderful things that helped us enjoy our roadtrip
- The Broadway Kids Sing America CD
next time I'll get more Broadway. wicked, les miz.  wonderful to sing out loud!
audiobooks!  we brought along 23 borrowed from our library and they were wonderful.  some science/nature, others pure fiction.  e did great turning pages and following along.
he also enjoyed audiobooks without follow along books.
he did spend about 2-3 hours of each trip (total 15 hours) watching dora, lego movie, sesame street on kindle.
more coming as i can get the last things put away and organized from the road trip.

I'll add this to my supercool gift idea list (more of that forthcoming at E's bday celebration post):  two reusable lunch food snack bags.  washable in the dishwasher or washing machine.  thank you Ms. E!
