but then it was over

E was awesome on the road trip.  legos, stickers, go fish, and jack and annie books (magic tree house).  then Dora when it was dark.  we were asleep by 9 on new years eve, but awakened at midnight by the fireworks.  welcome home.

relaxing on the next day

surprisingly this picture relaxes me.  it was sunny and bright, though not warm.  this is our friend R's front yard. wow.  we were having fun and doing good things with family!
visited Aunt L and Grandmother.  the sandwich preparation has to be just so, but it look to be worth it.  some butter spread and mayo on toast, then add peeled cucumber on one and peeled tomatoes on the other.

Aunt C took us to the new aquarium for a fun afternoon.  we started off warming up in the South American rainforest exhibit.  we saw frogs and toucans and climbed across the rope bridge.

river otters, sharks, and sharp teeth

R spent the day at Brighton with the B crew.

Grandma got us tickets to see the Savior of the World performance on a night that our cousin A was on stage.  so cool.
