e moments

Last night he played with the Tupperware (actually reusable plastic dairy containers) and was matching lids to bottoms! I was impressed. Trader joes yogurt has big vanilla flower on top and bottom and Lucerne yogurt has red top matching red bottom. Green butter spread and big cool whip and flat sour cream containers.
In the bathtub, he was playing by himself, and made up a story. the duck bit the turtle. One duck was mad, the turtle was sad, and the other duck was happy.

He liked my blue tee shirt with clouds. Its pretty mommy, its pretty. (I think he gets that from me- saying everything twice). Yay, my first compliment from my son.

He was talking to his father saying Daddy is robin. We couldn’t figure it out. Then, aha! Robert. Yes, he was glad when we finally got it. daddy is Robert and mommy is Rachel.

He asked mommy is mad? Well, yes, I explained how I was a little unhappy that he wouldn’t eat any dinner, but then at bedtime, I’m feeding him frozen peas and milk.

He told me that he likes daddy's gray shirt with numbers.

Happy Valentines Day from Nana and Papa.  and yes, in the foreground is the one dvd we've watched 3x now. (elmo's potty time)

Carkeek Park. no trains were spotted.

our adventure of potty training begins. slowly.

Our awesome dim sum outing with friends to Jade Garden in the International District!

talking is fun

He's realized that our days have patterns.  I'm normally gone to work when he wakes up, so on the weekend he said "We stay home together." it is nice to stay home together.

I bought a hymn book to play songs at our home. E spotted the book on the piano. he picked it up and brought to me in the kitchen. he was upset and said "we have to take back to the church. have to take it to the church."  i should have explained my purchase and let him see me open the package.

its wonderful to hear what he is thinking.  I think he's so smart.

notes

I would like to remember some little things, so i'll write them here.

I told E that I would sing a song and then it was time for bed.  i started with my choice, but he said 'sing bump your head'!  its his favorite.

Its raining, its pouring
the old man is snoring
he bumped his head
and went to bed
and didn't get up till the morning.

his note from school today said:
E had a fast paced day.  I think he only has one speed, full blast!  He engages in all activities and thoroughly enjoys himself.
