 amazing lentil burger from chaco canyon. embarrasingly high price, but i'll make it worthwhile because we are inspired to make our own.  see next pic of lentil mushroom burgers of our own with pickled onions (also our own!).
it's so rare that i really truly enjoy restaurant food.  it's just usally so pricey, all i can think is that i could have fed a family of 4 for the price that i paid for x, etc.  there are a few times though that stick out in my memory. 

• "chocolate mouse" made from avocado at the vegan restaurant with B in CT.
• first time i had tres leches VA
• spinach at din tai fung in u village.
• mushroom soup with dill at a german place in leavenworth
• greek salad at pegasus pizza
• latkes at VA diner.
