soccer and For Sale signs

thanks to Aunt C for the Easter dinner idea of salmon. yum.

R doing some back porch trim work before the house is up for sale.  He lamented "why didn't i do this years ago?"

our wonderful friend and neighbor had the foresight to think of asking the folks across the street about getting this junky car moved.  because he got the ball rolling, in fact, this eyesore was gone by the time of the open house.

such a blessing that our friends asked us to house-sit, animal-sit while they were gone, conveniently during our open house weekend.

they were so nice.  "draw with me :)" and "read me" :)

this silly puppy burrows under the covers to sleep at our feet.

it was bound to happen.  a 39th birthday for me.  we had a lovely weekend excited about our house selling and buying adventure, relaxing at C&N's beautiful house near the lake.

yum for oatmeal.  i will make it like this from now on:  topped with raisins, dates, brown sugar, toasted almonds, and banana slices.

e spent an hour laughing his way through exploring Where's Waldo books.

the end of another soccer class.

decadent treat of cinnamon french toast covered in nutella and bananas. :)

we chilled.  e danced.

Redfin spotlighted our home saying: “Charming home with great curb appeal and nice landscaping. Jack and Jill style bathroom connects from hallway to main floor bedroom. ”  Here are some pics of that nice landscaping.  thanks mom!
i'll post a pic of the For Sale sign once it has the SOLD addition :)

sort of hectic

dandelion bouquets!
lately our focus is on packing boxes and decluttering.  always cleaning. sad about not getting to the gym so much right now :( super lame.  we'll get back to normal good life and routine soon.

we had a unplanned surprisingly good dinner. r had boxed breading and coated rounds or zucchini, yellow squash, and eggplant.  fried, but yum.  r and e made the whole dinner.

he loves the sushi. our first appointment with "creating life is beautiful" clinic.

lunch to celebrate our 8 year working anniversary.  time flies and change is constant.

my cluttered desk (no surprise) and view every day.  could be worse.  i get to have a window with sunshine (or rain). and often pigeons.

floating bridges and Ethiopian

R wanted to go see the new 520 floating highway.  we did this as a fun family activity (with large crowds of other Seattleites).  there was a fair amount of standing in lines (e took photos to entertain himself).  but the day was sunny and nice.  we ran into some of E's school friends, C&J with their dad.

that evening we met friends for a Delicious! Ethiopian dinner.  YUM.  Ms. E made a pie to celebrate my birthday :)  everyone else brought desserts back to her house also, so we were plenty full that night.
