Thanksgiving time

r made his mom's potatoes, and a pumpkin pie and a cranberry relish using samsung app recipes.  i took a salad.

Ms. R knitted that beautiful yoked sweater on Mr. L.  she's almost completed the matching one for herself.

ely and i both loved Ms. R's pecan pie best, but we had a little bit of each one...

 we loved having a long weekend, long weekend!  no work on Thursday or Friday. so nice. i worked on sewing, ely made art and also did some sewing. he wants to use the machine. but for now is just using needle and thread.  he's improving his skills.

so fun with 2/3 of the primary kids and their families there to help.  until they can get a better photographer to document these activities, they are stuck with my blurry photos.

i do like my productive early mornings.  the view of rainier from the office window is nice.

we love our VT sweatshirts. thanks Dad!  we wear them all the time.  when we are out in public, we try to coordinate so we aren't both wearing them...

goal: savory should exceed sweet

ongoing food - every day we've got to make and eat.  I discovered carmelitas. next is yummy clafloutis.  last is healthy attempt roasted kale and delicata pizza.  i'm trying to find savory healthier things to cook instead of sweet baked things.
