gas is more expensive, but really unbelievable are the house prices. yikes.
ended up in San Fran. concrete, urban, dense, steep streets!

R can make pasta so good! he just opens some cans of tomatoes and fries some sausage, puts in some onion and spinach and garlic and whatever else, and its amazing. he has a real talent for just "throwing it all together."

started in Palo Alto. R utilized technology well with 1)GPS to get us to each town, 2) find the local favorites main drag, then 3) check out available real estate.
