Our lovely cousin D offered to come babysit so that husband and I could go on a date.

Our Memorial Day camping trip to Penrose Point was wonderful.  We took a walk out on the spit. It quickly disappeared under the rising tide.

That these dead shall not have died in vain.

We remember our family members and non-family members who served for our country's freedom.

Mother's Day

i was spoiled on Mother's Day.  Husband gifted me several auction items (no pics of that event unfortunately) that he won, and also made me healthy eggs benedict breakfast.

Nana spoiled us on Mother's Day and sent tempting chocolate covered strawberries.

E and I attended an afternoon "Rain 2 River" walk to check out rain gardens and learn how to keep polluted run off out of the waterways.

Mr. H likes to dip green onions in salt and eat them raw.

caramel dipped apples caused me to lose a point in the challenge that day...

dinner with friends. :( they are moving away, but we'll see them again soon I'm sure.
