preschool days

looking down on Smith Tower.
Just an FYI, we are going to go on a little trip to Columbia Tower on Friday, we will be taking the 512 bus a few blocks and walking a few blocks and then head up to see the view.  We are going to collect some of the children's guesses about what we will see and then ask them what they did see after we go up.  It should be a pretty fun little adventure.
Today we spent part of the morning down at Pike Place Market where we watched them throw fish, watched cheese getting made, sampled the cheese, danced to some music in the park, and watched the trolley and monorail go by.  In the afternoon we painted using our feet!
P.S.
our foam paintings are hanging up and they turned out pretty cool.

Today we did some fun sensory and art activities including painting with foam-paint and playing with Gak.  We will be doing all sorts of messy art activities this week including painting with our bare feet, giant rolly painting with kickballs, spraying watercolor, playing with gak etc.  so it would be a good idea to wear clothes that can get paint and gak on them this week.  We are a bit low in numbers this week due to spring break so we will be going on outings and doing the messiest of art pretty much every day!

Today we made ladybugs with strawberry bodies, blueberry heads, chocolate spots and pretzel legs!
