We love to have visitors. it is so fun to show family a little bit of Seattle, and it is great motivation for us to clean our house. On this visit, wiht those formerly from Texas, we didn't actaully get out to show them sites. We were able to enjoy some evenings close to home and discovered a great new beach. so FUN!

yes, i always take a lot of photos, and then include more than anyone wants to see. i'm too inpatient to choose the best ones. oh well.

like a park bench

This is our ADORABLE son. He makes us so happy. He is learning that its OK to sit in the grass. soon we'll have him mowing the lawn.

This is my handsome husband who is such a good dad. We really appreciate him taking on all sorts of home improvment projects.

Hats off to those who blazed the trail

i'm a late adopter. I'm also bad at capitalizing. I'm going to jump right in and try blogging. I make no promises about content and frequency of posting. I do wish to thank those who have shown me the value of a blog: my sisters, and cousins, especially a few in Georgia, Texas, and Idaho, St. Louis, and Michigan, I think. because I can check in, see photos, and hear about the every day going ons, I feel much more connected to my family, despite seeing them in-person only rarely.
so for the first post, I'll just add some captions to recent pics.
